Calling for Expressions of Interest for artist portfolios
6 April, 2018
Fraser Coast artists wanting to develop their portfolios are urged to submit Expressions of Interest for Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) grants now available.
Applications are also being sought from people willing to guide the artists with that process.
Fraser Coast Culture, Arts and Environment Councillor David Lewis said both levels in the current round of Fraser Coast Live grants opened this week and close on Monday 30 April.
“Successful artists will receive assistance with developing their professional biography and a portfolio of promotional images and video,” Cr Lewis said.
“These products will become property of Fraser Coast Regional Council and the artist to use as needed.
“The artists will also receive promotional assistance under Council’s Cultural Services 2018 marketing program, and have a live paid performance opportunity at key 2018 Council Cultural Services events.”
Applicants must have an Australian Business Number (ABN) and be over 18 years of age, or have their application co-signed by their legal guardian.
Cr Lewis said quotes were also being sought for the development of artist biography and portfolios for successful applicants of the Fraser Coast Live program.
The successful tender will be notified by 11 May, with works to be completed between 11 May and 31 July. All products must be provided to Fraser Coast Regional Council and the artist by 31 July.
Completed application forms can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject as ‘RADF Grants’, dropped in to Gatakers Artspace or posted to Fraser Coast Regional Council – PO Box 1943 Hervey Bay QLD 4655
RADF is a partnership between the Fraser Coast Regional Council and Queensland Government that invests in local arts and cultural experiences.
