Five Point Plan to address financial crisis

Council has adopted a five point plan to help minimise the impact of the current global financial crisis on our region.

The plan outlines Council's initiatives under:

• Employment security
• Development activity
• Injection of funds into the local economy
• Utilisation of local suppliers in the provision of goods and services
• Strong fiscal management
