To further enhance Council's preparedness for disaster events, cameras have been installed on Saltwater Creek Bridge and the lower end of Kent Street to monitor water levels.

It is important to note that the date/time is displayed at the bottom of each image. At this stage images will be taken every 15-30 minutes.

Due to the quality of lighting, night vision will not always be available for general public viewing via our website. It should be noted however, that night vision is available to Council staff with the use of infra red technology.

The flood camera has been provided as a joint initiative between Fraser Coast Regional Council and the Queensland Government.

For information on road closures, visit the Traffic and Travel Information website (131940.qld.gov.au)or phone 13 19 40.
