Library servicesThe Fraser Coast Libraries provides the following services, programs and assistance. Transparent language onlineOver 90 foreign languages are available to library members to choose from this self-paced, online language learning system. Access these tutorials in the Related Links below, and sign up by entering the letters fc following by your library barcode number and password. Internet and computer accessPublic computer facilities are available equipped with internet access and a range of other programs. Library members will be charged at $2.20 per hour and non-library members at $6 per hour. Wireless internet is also available for those with laptops or a personal digital assistant (PDA) at a rate of $2 per hour. Please ask at the Information Desk to be able to be connected. Computer classesBasic computer classes are held with practical hands-on experience in a relaxed environment. The classes are designed as an introduction to computers, internet and email. Housebound serviceResidents who are living independently, but who are unable to visit any of the libraries due to ill health, disability or frailty, can have a free library service provided to them. This is available either long-term or on a temporary basis due to short-term incapacitation. Residents of nursing homes are ineligible under this program but may have access to library resources provided as bulk loans to the nursing homes. Related links
