The Live Life Healthy program is incorporating free six weeks aquatic classes in Maryborough starting on the 24 February 2014.

Delivered by trained educators, these sessions are designed to raise awareness of diabetes and educate the community on prevention of the disease.

HEAL (Healthy Eating Activity Lifestyle)

The Healthy Eating Activity and Lifestyle (HEAL) program is a lifestyle modification program that enables participants to develop lifestyle healthy eating and physical activity behaviours.

BEAT IT

BEAT IT is a tailored physical activity and lifestyle program designed to assist those with or at risk of diabetes or other chronic disease.

Community gardens

Community gardens will provide an opportunity for participants to learn gardening skills to produce fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs in the community and at home.

Community walks

Community Walks are held at various times and locations and will explore trails in the parks and gardens of Maryborough and Hervey Bay.

10,000 Steps walking program

10,000 Steps is a free health promotion program that encourages the use of step-counting pedometers to monitor your daily physical activity levels.

Heart Foundation Walking

Heart Foundation Walking groups encourage the community to walk for fitness and social interaction.

Live Cycling program

These programs provide high quality cycle skills instruction promoted by your local cycle club.
