Snakes

Council does not remove or deal with snakes.

All snake enquiries should be made to Department of Environmental Resource Management on 1300 130 372.

The operator will advise of an appropriate snake handler for the location.

Please be aware there may be a charge for this service. 

Stock

Property owners have a responsibility to maintain boundary fences to prevent stock from straying onto public roads and places.
