The Fraser Coast Regional Council is committed to increasing the reuse and recycling of materials and reducing waste to landfill.
All materials deemed recyclable by gate staff is free of charge to drop off at Council's Waste Disposal Facilities. Please RECYCLE in order to reduce your fees and reduce the amount of waste going to landfill.

Domestic Waste Disposal
Weekly general rubbish and fortnightly recycling collections are provided by council in most areas. On your collection day please ensure your bins are placed on the kerb by 6am (or place them out the night before). Face the lid openings to the road, no more than a metre from the kerb or road edge, and at least one metre apart when there is more than one bin.
Large domestic items, green waste, commercial, industrial and hazardous waste should not be put in the domestic bins. These items must be disposed of at an appropriate Council Waste Disposal Facility.
Disposal of Hazardous Wastes
Disposal of hazardous wastes and special waste burials is only able at Saltwater Creek Road Regional Landfill, Maryborough. Arrangements can be made by contacting Council's Customer Service Centres on 1300 794 929.
All Council Waste Facilities are managed in accordance with the requirements of the Environment Protection Act 1994 and the Environmental Protection (Waste Management) Regulations 2000.
Please help reduce our waste by using the recycling facilities available.
