Hervey Bay Aquatic Centre

The Hervey Bay Aquatic Centre is located in Boundary Road, Torquay and open every month of the year. 

The facility features: a 50-metre, 8-lane outdoor pool, a children's leisure pool with water slides and play equipment, an indoor heated learn-to-swim pool and heated 8-lane, 25-metre pool with a disability ramp.

Activities include: swimming club, learn-to-swim, underwater hockey, aqua aerobics, swimming squad training, recreational swimming, water polo, adult fitness squads.

Open hours for the indoor heated learn-to-swim pool may vary depending on programs that are running at the time. 

Monday: 5.30am-7pm
Tuesday: 5.30am-6pm
Wednesday: 5.30am-7pm
Thursday: 5.30am-7pm
Friday: 5.30am-7pm
Saturday: 8am-5pm (Apr - Sept) and 8am - 6pm (Oct - Mar)

Sunday: 9am (all year round)

Maryborough Aquatic Centre

The Maryborough Aquatic Centre is located on the corner of John and Kent Streets, Maryborough.

The Centre has now closed for major renovations.   An alternative option for users of the Maryborough Aquatic Centre is the aquatic centre in Hervey Bay.  Phone: (07) 4125 9722 (opening hours and admission price details are above).

Late this year the complex will boast a new 50-metre pool, hydrotherapy pool, children's play area, new pumps and filters, changing sheds, toilets, kiosk, office and landscaping.

WetSide Water Education Park

WetSide Water Education ParkThis link will open in a new window is located on the foreshore at the junction of Main Street and the Esplanade, Pialba, Hervey Bay and is a fun, free, eco-friendly public asset designed around water 'infotainment'.

WetSide was created by Water Bay Water Corporation for residents and tourists to learn about water and its sustainable use.

The park includes a special area for under 5s called TotSide and the FlipSide BoardRider wave machine (tickets are $5 from coffee shop staff).
