Hervey Bay Safety Network
The Hervey Bay Safety Networkbrings together a range of agencies and groups concerned with making Hervey Bay a safe place to live.
The group includes: Fraser Coast Regional Council, the Police Service, Liquor Licensing, Office of Fair Trading, Youth Justice, local security firms, volunteers in policing, and other interested community representatives.
Maryborough Safety Network
The Maryborough Safety Network brings together a range of agencies and groups concerned with making Maryborough a safe place to live.
The group includes: Fraser Coast Regional Council, the Police Service, Fire and Rescue, Qld Rail, ATSI justice and community development, local security firms, Neighbourwood Watch, Volunteers in Policing, retail representatives, Chamber of Commerce and other interested community representatives.
The Network has worked on: the Maryborough Community Safety Plan; enewsletter on Council's website; crime prevention; positive ticketing program; audit forms online for community feedback.
