20 October 2011    Council have, on 19 October 2011, adopted new fees & charges applicable to Development Assessment within the Fraser Coast.  These are a result of the amended Hervey Bay City Planning Scheme which was adopted on 14 October 2011 and which will see a number of new use types being included in the scheme.

When considered with the effect of the planning scheme amendments, it is likely that some forms of development will in fact now be cheaper than under the previous planning scheme (eg Duplexes).
