Immunisation bookings

Bookings are essential for free monthly immunisation clinics (PDF, 114kb).  Phone 1300 79 49 29.

Immunisation clinics are a joint service provided by Council and Queensland Health.

The vaccines are in accordance with the current immunisation schedule (214kb) as set by the National Health & Medical Research Council and Queensland Health.

School-based immunisation programs

Queensland secondary school students are offered free immunisations at their school through the School-based Vaccination Program.  Coordinated by Queensland Health, the following immunisations are provided for:

• Year 8 boys - Hepatitis B and Chickenpox
• Year 8 girls - Hepatitis B, Chickenpox, Human papillomavirus (HPV) - Cervical Cancer
• Year 10 boys and girls - Diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis (dTpa)
