Wreck of the Maheno - 80th anniversary exhibition

Lunchtime Local History Talk - Cr George Seymour

On Friday 17 July at the Maryborough Library, Cr George Seymour will present a talk about Councillor James Chiam elected into the Maryborough Town Council in 1861: the first Asian elected in Australia.

Fraser Coast Libraries continues to move into the electronic age with the recent launch of its Technology Tool Bars at Hervey Bay and Maryborough library branches.

New Storytime sessions at Hervey Bay and Maryborough

To compliment the existing Storytime sessions, Best Start Storytime have started at Hervey Bay and Maryborough Libraries on Saturdays at 10.30am. Sessions will run every Saturday.

Additional Rattle & Rhyme sessions for baby

As part of the Queensland Government Best Start Family Literacy Initiative the Fraser Coast Libraries are now offering two additional Rattle & Rhyme sessions.
