Additional Rattle & Rhyme sessions for baby

As part of the Queensland Government Best Start Family Literacy Initiative the Fraser Coast Libraries are now offering two additional Rattle & Rhyme sessions.

New Storytime sessions at Hervey Bay and Maryborough

To compliment the existing Storytime sessions, Best Start Storytime starts at Hervey Bay and Maryborough Librarieson Saturday 9th May at 10.30am. Sessions will run every Saturday.

Tiaro Library

Please note that the Tiaro Library will be closing early at 1pm on Thursday 7 May.

ANZAC Day closure

All Fraser Coast Libraries will be CLOSED on Saturday 25th April for the ANZAC DAY public holiday. Returns chutes will be closed at the Hervey Bay Library and the Maryborough Library from 4pm Friday 24th April until reopening Monday 27th April.

Technology Tool Bar launch - Maryborough Library

Join us as we launch the Libraries’ technology tool bar at Maryborough Library, Tuesday 28th April at 10.30am.

Vintage Movie Club - Citizen Kane

A "golden oldie" movie will be shown each month (excluding January and December) at the Hervey Bay, Maryborough and Tiaro Libraries.

Design-a-Bookmark winners

The Design-a-Bookmark winners have been selected. Congratulations to Ryan Ellis 6 years and under, Katelyn Thiele 7-11 years, Lucia Anderson 7-11 years, Temoralee Cordell 12-17 years and David Stell 18+ years. The winning bookmarks will be available in all our branches very soon.
