The National Year of Reading 2012 is about children learning to read and keen readers finding new sources of inspiration. It's  about helping people discover and rediscover the magic of  books. Most of all it's about Australians becoming a nation of  readers. Australian libraries are behind the National Year of Reading 2012 campaign, with inspirational programs and events taking place across the country.

Caught Reading Photo Competition

Fraser Coast Libraries is running a family photo competition, 'Caught Reading'. We Like us on Facebook to view photos
would love to receive your best digital photo of your family reading together. We will post these on the Libraries' Facebook site as well as our website throughout the competition. Check out the photos already posted of our Library 'family'.

  • Email your entry photo and your library membership number by 5.00pm Monday 14 May
  • Winner will be announced during Library & Information Week, 21-27 May 2012
  • Open to Fraser Coast Library members only
  • The winning entrant will receive a children's pack of picture books and the latest model e-reader for your digital reading experience
