Internet and Computer Access
Fraser Coast Libraries offer public computer facilities equipped with Internet access and a range of other programs and utilities.
Library Members $2.00 per hour
Non-Library Members $5.50 per hour
Half hour rate is available for members and non-members
Wireless Internet
Fraser Coast Libraries offer wireless internet during library opening hours for customers with laptops or PDAs.
Please ask at the Information Desk to be able to connect to the wireless network.
Wireless access: $2.00/hour
Computer Classes
Fraser Coast Libraries run basic computer classes with practical hand-on experience in a relaxed environment. The classes are designed as an introduction to computers, internet and email.
Regular classes are held at Hervey Bay and Maryborough library.

Online Tutorials
Fraser Coast Libraries now offer access to a range of online computer tutorials to help our customers become confident and competent users at their own pace.
To access these tutorials, please enter the letters fc followed by your library barcode number.
Housebound Service
The Fraser Coast Libraries provide a free library service to residents, living independently, but who are unable to visit the Library due to ill health, disability or frailty and have no family or friends who are able to collect Library resources for them. This service is available either long term or on a temporary basis due to short term incapacitation.
Residents of nursing homes are ineligible under this program but may have access to library resources provided as bulk loans to the nursing homes.

Foreign Language Learning
Over 90 foreign languages are available to library members to choose from using this self-paced, on-line language learning system.
