Fraser Coast Regional Council encourages all residents and visitors to REDUCE, REUSE and RECYCLE waste products.

As part of Council's recycling program we have three grades of mulch available for purchase through our recycling centres.
 

*Standard and cottage mulch is currently being offered at the reduced rate of $5/m³ and premium mulch for $20/m³.  The usual price of standard and cottage mulch is $19/m³ and premium mulch is $27/m³.  This special is available until 30 April 2012 or until stocks run out.

Mulch Loading Times and Locations   

(Subject to mulch availability and loader availability)

Fraser Coast Recycling Centre Nikenbah:
All grades - Monday to Sunday 7.30am to 3pm  (Cannot load outside these hours)

Toogoom Landfill:
Standard grade only - Saturday 1pm to 3pm (Load your own outside these hours)
Collection only, no delivery service available

Maryborough Landfill:
Standard, Premium and Cottage mulch - Monday to Saturday 9am to 3pm and Sunday 11am to 3pm (Cannot load outside these hours)
Collection only, no delivery service available 

** No prior arrangement for loading mulch is required and there is no extra charge for the mulch to be loaded, however delays may occur due to loader availability.

 ** Delivery can be arranged for an additional fee based on the size of the load and delivery area.  Orders over 10 cubic metres will be charged PER LOAD and not per metre - Ex Nikenbah Transfer Station Only.

** There is no facility to pre-order mulch - includes ALL grades Commercial and Domestic.
