Cyclists of all ages and abilities are being urged to hit the pedals in Hervey Bay next month for Wildlife Queensland’s Cycle for Change bike ride on April 28.
The annual event starts at 8.30am at ESA Park in Point Vernon, finishing at Dayman Park in Urangan.
Riders will stop at various points of interest along the 14km ride, as five local experts discuss the impacts of climate change on our wildlife and what climate change means for our coastline.
Refreshments are provided en route to the finish line, where riders will also be greeted with a free sausage sizzle and cool drink.
Entry is free but registration is essential and closes on April 18.
