Council is continuing to consult the members of the Development Industry Reference Group (DIRG) on a range of planning related matters. 

 

Although a meeting was not held last month, Council sought comment on issues such as a draft implementation note regarding the methodology for determining public parks credits pursuant to the Hervey Bay City Planning Scheme Planning Scheme Policy 4 and the Standard Conditions for detached dwellings and sheds. 

 

Based on the feedback received, a workshop will be scheduled in the coming weeks to discuss these and other issues, including the Final Report of the Infrastructure Charges Taskforce, which was released last month.
