Council has continued its involvement in the Local Government Review Group. 

The latest task for the LGRG has been to participate in pre-consultation with the DLGP on Version 3.0 of the Queensland Planning Provisions – version 3.0. 

Council has prepared a response to the informal draft, objecting to a number of key issues, such as the proposal to expand the assessment of Code Assessable development to include the Strategic Framework and the inclusion of the Vision within the Strategic Framework. 

Further notification will be provided, once the formal consultation period has commenced.
