Council called for tenders for the preparation of the Fraser Coast Regional Council Planning Scheme from 26 February 2011 to 21 March 2011. 

The project team is currently reviewing submitted tenders, however it is expected that Council will decide the successful tenderer later this month. 

Both the content and timeframes for the new planning scheme will be influenced by the aforementioned Sustainable Growth Strategy, however indicatively, the draft planning scheme will be submitted to the Minister for the first state interest check early in 2012.
