Reading Together Photo Comp

Fraser Coast Libraries is running a family photo competition, 'Reading Together'. We would
love to receive your best digital photo of your family reading together. We will post these on the Libraries' Facebook site as well as our website throughout the competition. Check out the photos already posted of our Library 'family'.

• Email your entry photo and your library membership number by 5.00pm Monday 14 May
• Winner will be announced during Library & Information Week, 21-27 May 2012
• Open to Fraser Coast Library members only
• The winning entrant will receive a children's pack of picture books and the latest model e-reader for your digital reading experience
   

Book Sale

Monster March Book Sales will be held in Maryborough and Hervey Bay. This is a joint venture between the Fraser Coast Libraries, Rotary Club of Hervey Bay Sunrise and Rotary Club of Maryborough Sunrise. Don't miss out on the bargain prices.

Maryborough Toy Library and Special Needs Resource Centre

The renovations and extensions, funded by a $310,00 grant from Non-School Organisations, Department of Employment and Training and Fraser Coast Regional Copuncil are now complete and the Maryborough Toy Library and Special Needs Resource Centre at 239 Lennox Street Maryborough is now open for normal business.

The Toy Library and Special Needs Resource Centre promotes skills development by providing stimulating and enhanced learning experiences with quality toys, educational resources, play equipment and special disability equipment.

Computer Classes            

Want to learn 'The Basics' of Internet use, emailing, Web 2.0, databases or computer equipment?

Classes are being held at the Maryborough and Hervey Bay Libraries on different topics each month. Bookings are essential as places are limited.
