School exchange
In July 2012, 13 students and three teachers from our sister city school Leshan No. 1 School visited Urangan State High School.
During their visit to Hervey Bay, the students attended school classes with their host brothers / sisters. They were hosted by families of the Urangan High School LOTE Chinese students.
The group visited Fraser Island and went whale watching as many of them had never seen the ocean before.
Their visit to Maryborough to meet with the Mayor and Councillors was also a highlight of their trip.
