Council encourages all residents and visitors to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle waste products.

As part of Council's recycling program we have three grades of mulch available for purchase - garden, cottage and premium. Garden mulch / soil blend is also available.

Loading times

A loader machine is available to load your trailer at the following locations. Outside of these hours, you will be required to load your own trailer.

Fraser Coast Recycling Centre, Nikenbah
Monday to Sunday from 7.30am - 4.30pm

Maryborough Landfill
Monday to Sunday from 7.30am - 4.30pm

Toogoom Landfill
No loader at this site. Self loading only.

All loads of mulch must be covered adequately to ensure that the mulch is secure. NO COVER - NO MULCH.

Delivery of mulch

Mulch can be purchased direct from the Maryborough, Nikenbah or Toogoom refuse facilities using cash or cheque, or from a Customer Service Centre using cash, cheque, credit or debit card.

Delivery of mulch can be organised through Council at the time of mulch purchase from Nikenbah Transfer Station only. If you require delivery from another facility you will need to make your own arrangements and pay a private contractor separately.

A specific time or day for delivery of mulch cannot be guaranteed as it depends on the contractor's schedule. Link to delivery costs and locations below.
