Take a Fraser Elf on an adventure

2 November 2019

The Fraser Elves are back.

Between December 14 and 20, elves will start appearing in parks across the Fraser Coast.

“We need your help to find them,” Fraser Coast Mayor George Seymour said.

“This year there will be more elves and more opportunities to be involved.

“If you find an elf, you are invited to play host for a day and take it on your travels – taking pictures to record your adventure.

“Then you rehide the elf, in the same park or another participating park, for someone else to find.

“Each of the elves has a name, some in the Butchulla language with the English interpretation below.”

The rules of the game:

  • Go to a participating park and find an elf
  • Take a photo and post here
  • Be sure to use the hashtags #FestiveFraserCoast #FraserElf
  • Take your elf on an adventure or rehide for someone else to find
  • If you rehide your elf, please post a picture announcing the *rehide* and the park location
  • Please rehide the elves in safe, easy to find locations, in participating parks only
