Work by the Water

Swap your office for a workspace by the water this May

Ever wondered what your workday would look like with a river or ocean view?

This May, Fraser Coast Regional Council is inviting local businesses, freelancers and remote workers to try something different, with two unique pop-up co-working events as part of Queensland Small Business Month.

Work by the Water includes two unique experiences:

  • Business by the River - Maryborough (Brolga Theatre) - 13 and 14 May 2026
  • Business at the Beach - Hervey Bay (Surf Life Saving Club) - 20 and 21 May 2026

Bring your laptop, set up for the day, and enjoy a workspace that’s a little less ordinary.

Work by the Water is your chance to experience a different way of working on the Fraser Coast.
