Adopted Infrastructure Charges Resolution - January
Council at its meeting held on 21 January, 2015 resolved to adopt regulated infrastructure charges in accordance with State Planning Regulatory Provisions (Adopted charges), and to align with the Sustainable Planning (Infrastructure Charges) and other Legislation Amendment Bill 2014.
The regulated infrastructure charges resolution will be applicable to the Fraser Coast Planning Scheme 2014.
Further to Council’s Adopted Infrastructure Charges Resolution of December 2014, this adopted resolution provides further information pertaining to conversion applications, and will take effect on and from 27 January 2015.
Council also resolved to extend the Infrastructure Charges Incentives Administration Policy and Direct Financial Incentive Offer. These will be commence with effect on 13 February 2015.
Three new categories have been added to the incentive package:
• Discounts on infrastructure charges for Over 55 resort-style developments;
• Encouraging intensive agricultural industries to create jobs, and;
• Tourist park developments (caravan and camp grounds).
