Connection: Words Inspiring Art Book Launch and Exhibition
Join us for an inspiring event that aims to bring together writers and artists, fostering connections and creativity.
Connection: Words Inspiring Art has been a six-month project resulting in an art exhibition and book launch at Gallery 5 in Hervey Bay in October.
The collaboration between the University of the Third Age (U3A) Hervey Bay and the Hervey Bay Art Society has involved more than 70 Fraser Coast community members to inspire and encourage others to explore pathways into their many and varied activities.
25 stories and paintings interpreting the word “Connection” will be on display for a month from 1– 29 October. Gallery entry is free.
The official book launch is an opportunity to meet the authors, artists and sponsors.
