The Fraser Coast has two botanic gardens - one among the oldest in Australia, while the other grows out of 6,000-year-old sand dunes and over 100 other parks, gardens, playgrounds and recreational areas.

Commercial activities and ceremonies

Council approval is required to conduct a commercial activity or ceremony in Council's parks or reserves. Please review conditions for commercial activities and ceremonies in parks and reserves (PDF,415kB) and submit an application for operation of a regulated activity or ceremony (PDF, 130kB).  

Council has provided a toilet facilities at events guide (PDF, 502kB) about the requirements that need to be considered when planning your event.
