Fraser Coast Youth Ambassadors

The Fraser Coast Youth Ambassadors are a group of young people aged 12-25 years who are passionate about the Fraser Coast region.

The overall purpose of the Fraser Coast Youth Ambassadors is to:

  • Be the voice of young people
  • Represent the Fraser Coast region at various prestigious community events
  • Make recommendations to Council of youth priorities
  • Foster youth development and collaboration
  • Become involved in youth projects

As a Youth Ambassador you will work closely with other young people in the region and Council staff to ensure that young people are supported, acknowledged and contribute to the current and future development of the area.

You will also be asked at times to represent the youth of the Fraser Coast at different events such as: Australia Day Awards, youth leadership forums, youth week, Council meeting and other projects.

Throughout the 12-month commitment, you will be able to pick up opportunities when you have time, and step back when you are busy.

Please submit your interest via the Fraser Coast Youth Ambassador application form (PDF,198kB) and email to kieren.stoneley@frasercoast.qld.gov.au
