An isolated bone was located yesterday during redevelopment works at the Pialba Caravan Park site.
As the bone may be of human origin, the Queensland Police Service (QPS) was notified and is now leading the investigation and conducting forensic testing.
Construction works in the immediate area have been paused while QPS undertakes its inquiries.
As this is now a police matter, any further questions should be directed to QPS.
