Jobs Ready Program
The Jobs Ready Program is run by the Fraser Coast Regional Council and funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services.
It includes the Jobs Pathways Program designed to upskill, build job readiness and provide intensive support to unemployed people; and Business Managers Program to assist business owners recruit and retain staff.

The Jobs Pathways Program provides participants with practical skills to successfully gain and retain employment.
Jobs Pathways Program - FREE courses
The Jobs Pathways Program aim to boost confidence and job readiness in a supportive learning environment.
It is FREE and runs for 4 weeks on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 9am – 2pm. A light breakfast and lunch is provided.
Participants can expect a varied schedule, including learning techniques in:
- Increasing job seeking skills
- Resume writing
- Writing letters of application
- Interview skills
- Applying for jobs in person and online
- Increased confidence
- Knowing how to get a job and how to keep a job
The program can help familiarise participants with industries via site visits and guest speakers, as well as highlight career opportunities in the region.
COURSE INFORMATION
Prior to signing up you must attend an information session to obtain insight into the program. Courses are limited to 20 participants each. Successful applicants will be selected from the pre-course information session.
LOCATION: Hervey Bay (1/65 Main Street, Pialba) and Maryborough (60 John Street, Maryborough)
