***The Burrum Heads, Yengarie, Granville and Tinana waste facilities closed on 26 June 2023.
This decision will save ratepayers about $426,000 a year, ensure the remaining facilities operate more efficiently and increase our recycling efforts.
The changes will mean 97% of residents will still be within a 20-minute drive and 99% within a 30-minute drive of a waste facility.
All residents in the areas where the closures take effect will continue to receive a weekly waste and fortnightly recycling kerbside bin collection.***

EFTPOS is available at the Hervey Bay and Maryborough waste facilities. You can pay with your debit card, credit card or paywave for any charges.
