Regional Camping and RV Stops
Fraser Coast Regional Council offers a wide range of camping, caravanning and RV sites across the region, from free and low-cost stopovers to four Beachfront Tourist Parks.

Water Fill Stations & Dump Points
RV campers can top up water tanks at the Maryborough Showgrounds and Equestrian Park - Bruce Highway, Maryborough.
There are three Dump Points across the Fraser Coast for the disposal of grey water and sewage waste. Locations are:
- Maryborough Showgrounds and Equestrian Park, Bruce Highway, Maryborough
- Maryborough Airport, Saltwater Creek Road, Maryborough
- Hervey Bay Visitor Information Centre, Maryborough - Hervey Bay Road

Illegal Camping
Illegal camping is a significant issue from both an amenity and a compliance perspective. Council local laws prohibit camping in certain areas and impose fines.
