Glenwood Community Hall registration of interest
Fraser Coast Regional Council is inviting eligible community organisations to register their interest in using Glenwood Community Hall, 13 Pepper Road, Glenwood, on an ongoing basis.
The registration process will help Council understand community demand, proposed activities, preferred frequency of use and requirements for the facility.
Registrations close Friday 31 July 2026.
No decisions have been made about future tenants, access or tenure arrangements. Submitting a registration does not guarantee access, exclusive use or tenure of the hall.
About the facility
Glenwood Community Hall is a Council-owned facility with an approximate hall area of 250 square metres.
Council is exploring how the hall can best support local community activities and deliver the greatest possible benefit to the community. Potential future arrangements may include use by one organisation or shared use by multiple community groups.
The proposal guidelines include further property information and an aerial map identifying the hall.
Who can register?
Registrations are invited from:
- incorporated not-for-profit community organisations
- community groups able to demonstrate an appropriate community purpose
- organisations proposing activities that provide a clear community benefit.
Applicants should provide enough information for Council to understand their organisation, proposed activities and likely use of the facility.
What information is required?
Organisations will be asked to provide:
- organisation and primary contact details
- information about the organisation’s community purpose and activities
- details of the proposed use of Glenwood Community Hall
- preferred days, times and frequency of use
- estimated participant numbers
- access, kitchen, utility, storage and other facility requirements
- willingness to share the hall with other community groups
- relevant insurance, licences and supporting documents.
All sections of the application form must be completed for a registration to be considered.

Registrations must be received in full by email before the closing date.
What happens next?
After registrations close, Council will review submissions for completeness, eligibility and proposed community use.
Eligible organisations may then be contacted to:
- attend a site inspection
- discuss proposed activities and frequency of use
- identify access, storage and facility requirements
- provide further information
- discuss possible shared-use arrangements.
The indicative assessment process is expected to take approximately six weeks, depending on the number and nature of registrations received.
Information gathered through this process will help Council consider suitable future occupancy and tenure options. Participation does not guarantee access, tenure or exclusive use.
