2026 Mobility Scooter and Wheelchair Convoy

The annual Scooter Convoy is set to cast a spell over the Fraser Coast with a fantasy theme this year!

The much-loved event returns on Saturday 5 September, with participants encouraged to transform themselves and their mobility scooters, wheelchairs and power chairs into magical masterpieces - think fairies, dragons, mermaids, elves, witches, wizards and more!

Registration opens from 9am on the day, at Scarness Park opposite the Beach House Hotel, with the convoy set to kick off at 10am.

We will be attempting to break our own Australian record of 176 scooters and wheelchairs in convoy! 

This event is an opportunity to celebrate independence, raise awareness around safe mobility and bring people together in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Dust off your fairy wings and join the fun!

Time: Registrations start at 9am, Convoy starts at 10am
Location: Scarness Park, opposite the Beach House Hotel
Convoy Route: Down the Esplanade, past the playgrounds and skate park, and back to Scarness Park for the ultimate celebration!
What to expect: Entertainment galore and a free sausage sizzle for all participants!
