Community Governance Workshop 2 - Maryborough

Fraser Coast not-for-profit community groups can continue to develop their club management skills in this second free governance workshop.

The Fraser Coast Regional Council acknowledges the efforts and contributions of community groups and clubs across the region and has been coordinating a series of free governance workshops in 2026 facilitated by leading governance expert Leisa Donlan.

This workshop will cover essentials skills such as volunteer management;appropriate financial practices; risk minimisation; strategic planning and how to maintain ongoing compliance.

“The workshops will help people feel confident managing their organisations and even those who have been on committee for decades need an update on really important legislation that has changed over the last year or two,” Ms Donlan said.
