Get Ready Food n Groove - Maryborough

October is Get Ready Month - the perfect time to prepare for extreme weather and protect what matters most to you and your family.

Come along to a Get Ready Food n Groove event in Hervey Bay (17 October) or Maryborough (24 October) or visit www.frasercoast.qld.gov.au/storm-season-clean-up to learn more about what you can do to keep your family and home safe.

Attendees can meet emergency crews, learn essential disaster preparedness tips, and enjoy a sneak peek at emergency vehicles and equipment.

All this will be set against a vibrant backdrop of live entertainment, market stalls, and a variety of delicious food options.

When: Friday 24 October 2025 from 4pm-9pm
Where: Brolga Theatre, Maryborough

Another Get Ready Food n Groove will be held in Hervey Bay - Friday 17 October at City Park

Things to remember:

• Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• No BYO alcohol - there is a bar on-site.
• Please leave your pets at home (assistance animals are exempt).
• Bring your own chairs and picnic rugs; personal shade structures are not permitted.
• There is no ATM on-site. Most vendors have Eftpos available.
