Division 3 – Fraser Coast Regional Council
Division 3 covers a diverse area of the Fraser Coast, including parts of Maryborough and surrounding communities. Over time, the divisional boundaries have expanded to encompass a number of iconic local landmarks such as the Maryborough Airport, the Original Maryborough Site, ANZAC Park (Ululah), and the Maryborough Hospital.
Representing Division 3, Councillor Paul Truscott is a proud fifth-generation Maryborough local with a strong commitment to the Fraser Coast community. Now in his third term on Council, Paul has twice served as Deputy Mayor, contributing significantly to the region’s strategic planning and community advocacy.
With a background that spans multiple levels of government and private enterprise, Paul brings valuable experience and a practical, solutions-focused approach to leadership. He is passionate about Maryborough and the wider Fraser Coast – championing local projects, supporting individuals and small businesses, and working hard to ensure the region’s potential is realised for current and future generations.
