Treat your furry friend to ‘A Dog’s Day Out’ - Sunday 19 April, at Dayman Park, Urangan, from 8am to 12pm.

A Dog's Day Out is a much-loved community event that brings together pets, owners, and local businesses for a morning of education, entertainment, and tail-wagging fun.

The event promotes responsible pet ownership through engaging activities, demonstrations, and access to helpful information about pet health and welfare - all in a relaxed, family-friendly environment.

Stallholder Opportunities

We’re excited to let you know that formal applications are now open for A Dog's Day Out, to be held on Sunday, 19 April from 8am–12pm at Dayman Park.

A Dog's Day Out is a Council-run, community-focused event promoting responsible pet ownership and supporting local pet-related businesses. Vendor participation is free of charge; however, stalls must be pet-related or provide food and beverages for attendees.

EOI Closing Date: Friday, 22 March 2026

Spots are limited, and this event fills quickly, so early applications are strongly encouraged.

We’ll again be running our popular novelty competitions:

  • Best dressed dog
  • Best trick
  • Best owner and pup look-alike
