Council recognises the importance of attracting and securing future professionals both as an organisation and as a community.
The Let's Get Fraser Coast Working program seeks to work with employment agencies, training institutes and schools to provide work experience opportunities to local students and job seekers to gain practical experience in their field of study or interest.
The number of placements and scheduling for work experience varies from department to department, as it depends on the ability of the work area to provide effective on-the-job experience for the participant.
In order to undertake work experience, you will be required to submit an expression of interest form (PDF, 82kB) to Council.
Council regularly attends local career expos and job fairs for the benefit of students and job seekers of all ages.
