Fraser Coast Regional Council’s 2025/26 Budget focuses on the basics – better roads, reliable water and sewerage services, quality waste management, and well-maintained parks and public spaces.

The $527 million budget includes $198 million in capital works to support a growing population, maintain essential services and enhance liveability across the region.

Key highlights include:

• $180 million for water, sewerage and waste
• $128 million for roads, bridges, footpaths, coastal protection and drainage
• $89 million for economic development, tourism and major projects
• $40 million for parks, pools, playgrounds and cemeteries
• $15 million for libraries, galleries and cultural facilities
