Margaret Linn Reserve Basketball Court and Shelter Upgrade

What happened
Council upgraded the basketball halfcourt and nearby shelter at Margaret Linn Reserve on Doolong Road, Kawungan. Works included:

  • Replacing old pavers with concrete,
  • Installing new seating and a barbecue,
  • Improving drainage around the area.

Why?
The halfcourt had reached the end of its life and needed replacing. The upgrades make the space more enjoyable and safer for everyone, while also reducing future maintenance. Margaret Linn Reserve is a popular local park used by families and young people, so keeping it in good condition is important.

Community Impact
