What’s happening

Why

The upgrades will:

  • Provide safer, more accessible routes for players, officials and spectators

  • Reduce damage to turf and playing fields from vehicle movements

  • Support the efficient operation of a busy regional sports hub

When

  • Final design: October 2025

  • Construction: November 2025 to March 2026*

  • Completion: March 2026*
*Subject to weather and site conditions.

Who’s doing the work

Fraser Coast Regional Council, with funding support from the Queensland Government’s Works for Queensland program.

How much will it cost

The project is estimated at $700,000.

Community impact

There may be temporary changes to internal access and parking within the precinct while works are underway. Traffic management and signage will be in place, and Council will work with user groups to minimise disruption.
