Celebrate community at the Fraser Coast Community Expo
Published on 14 January 2026
The Fraser Coast Community Expo kicks off next month, highlighting the clubs and organisations that bring our community together, with stall registrations still available.
Fraser Coast Mayor George Seymour said this expo is a chance for our local community, sporting and not-for-profit groups to share what they do, while giving residents the chance to discover new activities, services and ways to get involved.
“Our community is rich with groups and organisations that help people stay active, learn new skills, make friends and make a difference,” he said.
“The free event will be held at the Hervey Bay PCYC on Sunday 15 February 2026 from 9.30am to 2.30pm, featuring up to 60 stalls and displays from local groups.
“Council is proud to partner with Rotary to put this event on as part of our focus on creating connected, inclusive communities.
Rotary Club of Hervey Bay Sunrise President Kevin Corcoran encouraged everyone to come along and enjoy a day of discovery, connection and community spirit.
“It’s not too late to get involved as a stallholder, with local community, sporting and not-for-profit groups still able to register for a free stall or display space,” he said.
“We’ve already had a strong response, with sporting clubs, aged and childcare providers, community groups, charities and food vendors signed up.
“With only 20 stalls remaining, groups are encouraged to register soon to secure a spot and showcase their organisation to the wider community.
“The Expo offers something for everyone whether you’re curious about a new hobby, looking for ways to give back, or want to learn more about local services and opportunities.”
