Fraser Coast Community Expo this Sunday

From sporting clubs and planting groups to food and charity organisations, the Fraser Coast Community Expo 2026 kicks off this Sunday at the Hervey Bay PCYC, bringing together the community groups that help make the Fraser Coast a great place to live.
Fraser Coast Mayor George Seymour said the expo would be a vibrant and informative event, with all 60 stallholder spaces filled by local community, sporting and not-for-profit groups.
“The free event will be held at the Hervey Bay PCYC this Sunday, 15 February, from 9.30am to 2.30pm, and the community is encouraged to come along and get involved,” he said.
“This is a great opportunity to discover a new sport or learn about the many clubs and services available in the community,” he said.
“Council is proud to partner with Rotary to put this event on as part of our focus on creating connected, inclusive communities.”
Rotary Club of Hervey Bay Sunrise President Kevin Corcoran said the Fraser Coast Community Expo is a fantastic way for people to see just how much is happening in their own backyard.
“It’s fantastic to see all stallholder spaces filled by passionate local groups, and we encourage the community to come down, show their support and get involved,” Mr Corcoran said.
“The expo will be held indoors at the PCYC, meaning it will go ahead rain or shine, with free entry for all.”
Cr Seymour said the Expo offers something for everyone whether you’re curious about a new hobby, looking for ways to give back, or want to learn more about local services and opportunities.
