While rainfall has eased across much of the Fraser Coast this afternoon, forecasts remain highly variable and conditions can change quickly.

The Bureau of Meteorology is still predicting significant rainfall overnight and tomorrow and has also issued strong wind warnings, so we encourage residents to stay informed and monitor conditions.

A number of local roads are already affected by rain, with details available on the Fraser Coast Disaster Dashboard.

If heavy rain develops, please stay off the roads unless travel is necessary.

In Maryborough, Adelaide Street will be open in both directions with reduced traffic lane width arrangements tomorrow while the CBD penstock gate remains in place as a precaution.
