The Fraser Coast Adoption Centre is currently looking for enthusiastic people to volunteer and assist in caring for the animals housed at the facility.
By joining us you will get to work with a great group of passionate and positive facility officers and you will be under the direction of the Senior Facility Attendant and/or Animal Facility Officer whilst carrying out your duties.
Animal and Support Duties include:
- Dog walking
- Dog bathing
- Socialising with cats
- Creating enrichment activities & treats for animals
You are required to:
- Be over the age of 18
- Have a reasonable level of fitness to assist with dog walking (this role requires a physical check and written approval from your doctor)
- Wear:
- Appropriate covered footwear;
- Shirts with long sleeves; and
- A broad-rimmed-hat at all times.
