Youth Week is an opportunity for us to celebrate and empower young people aged 12 to 25.
From April 6 to 12, we’re rolling out a lineup of great events!

#CommunityGroove Easter Disco - Saturday 5 April
An Easter-themed disco for the young and young-at-heart with prizes and an Easter egg hunt.
Youth Fest - Monday 7 April
9am - 2pm. A high-energy community event packed with fun, food, and entertainment!
PCYC Hervey Bay ColourXplosion - Monday 7 April
Seafront Oval. Walk, run and dance through the clouds of colour with friends and family to celebrate Youth Week on the Fraser Coast.
Don’t forget to wear white clothing, activewear, running shoes, hat and sunglasses.

Ghost Hunting 101 - 7, 9 & 11 April
FREE. Ready for a spine-tingling adventure? Join us for Ghost Hunting 101 at the Bond Store, where you’ll become a real-life investigator for the night. Armed with EMF meters, infrared thermometers, dowsing rods, and a spirit box, you’ll explore the haunted halls and maybe even make contact with the spirits lurking inside. Bookings Required.

Community Skateboard Workshops - Daily 7-11 April
Various Locations - A series of FREE engaging and skill-building skateboarding workshops and clinics.
Hervey Bay Ninja Warrior - Tuesday 8 April
Cost: $5. Location: Wodfit Gym, Pialba. Ninja Warrior-inspired outdoor program is a fun, action-packed experience for young people aged 6-17. These sessions focus on building strength, coordination, and resilience while challenging participants in an exciting and safe environment.

Bay Beats - Wednesday 9 April
3pm - 6pm - Join us for Bay Beats, an epic arvo featuring DJ Crooksy spinning the decks, a sausage sizzle, and plenty of action on the pump track. Plus, check out community stalls and connect with your crew!
Digital Art workshop - Wednesday 9 April
FREE. 10am at The Story Bank. Learn how to harness digital tools to express yourself through art, while also gaining valuable insights from peers who share a passion for creativity and technology.
