Celebrate Australia and New Zealand Botanic Gardens (BGANZ) Week at the Hervey Bay Botanic Gardens Open Day, a relaxed morning dedicated to plants, nature and wellbeing.

Join us on Sunday 24 May from 9am to 12pm for a great line-up of local gardening groups, plant sales, workshops and more. Our native plant sales like this rarely happen throughout the year, so it’s a great chance to pick up something special for your garden grown right at the Hervey Bay Botanic Gardens.

What's on:

• Native plants and orchids for sale
• The Orchid House open to visitors
• Nature journal workshops with Riverbend Nature Connections
• Displays and advice from local groups including: Orchid Society, Bromeliad Society, Hervey Bay Garden Club, Fraser Coast Beekeepers and John “Batman” Parsons.
• Food and coffee vans on site

Whether you’re a keen gardener or just looking for a nice way to spend the morning, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
