Severe weather is expected to continue across the Fraser Coast this evening.
Heavy rainfall may cause dangerous flash flooding, and damaging wind gusts of up to 120 km/h are possible. River levels are continuing to rise, with minor to moderate flooding possible on the Mary River at Maryborough at around 7 metres.
Granville Bridge will close when the river reaches around 5.7 metres.
Prepare now: • Seek shelter • Secure loose outdoor items • Stay off the roads – if it’s flooded, forget it
