This Christmas, we're encouraging everyone to shop local, discover festive favourites and support Fraser Coast businesses.
A Very Fraser Coast Christmas invites local businesses to put a Christmas twist on their products, offers and experiences, and showcase them on the Fraser Coast Christmas List.
Customers who visit participating businesses can enter a prize draw with 3 x $250 Buy Local Gift Cards up for grabs!

Have something festive to offer this Christmas? We'd love you to be part of it!
We're inviting businesses of all sizes and sectors to create a Christmas-themed product, offer or experience and join the Fraser Coast Christmas List.
It could be a Christmas cocktail, gingerbread ice cream, festive nail art, a special offer or something completely different. It doesn't need to be big or expensive – just give it a Christmas twist!
By taking part, your business can:
- Get featured on Council's website as part of the Fraser Coast Christmas List.
- Showcase something special and give customers another reason to visit your business.
- Be part of a region-wide campaign encouraging residents and visitors to shop local.
- Offer customers a chance to win one of three $250 Buy Local Gift Cards when they visit participating businesses.

The Fraser Coast Christmas List will bring together Christmas-themed products, offers and experiences from businesses across the region, making it easier to discover something special and support local this festive season.

Shop local for your chance to win
Visit a participating business, scan the QR code and enter for your chance to win one of three $250 Buy Local Gift Cards.
You can enter up to five times by visiting five different participating businesses.
Entries will open soon and close 5pm Sunday 20 December, with winners drawn on 21 December – just in time for some last-minute Christmas shopping.
Giveaway terms and conditions
A Very Fraser Coast Christmas Giveaway - Terms and Conditions
Eligibility
1. Entry is open to people aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
2. To enter, you must shop at a business participating in the Fraser Coast Christmas List and complete the online entry form.
3. Entrants may submit a maximum of five entries, with each entry relating to a different participating business.
4. Participating businesses will be listed on the Fraser Coast Christmas List at www.frasercoast.qld.gov.au/festive.
How to Enter
5. Scan a QR code at a participating business and fill out the online entry form.
6. Entries close at 5pm on Sunday 20 December 2026.
7. Council accepts no responsibility for late entries.
Prize Draw and Winner Selection
8. Three winners will be selected by random draw on 21 December 2026.
9. Each eligible entry will have an equal chance of being selected.
10. An entrant may win one prize only.
11. Winners will be contacted using the contact details provided on their entry form.
12. If a winner cannot be contacted within 48 hours, Council may conduct a redraw.
Prize
13. There are three $250 Fraser Coast Buy Local Gift Card up for grabs.
14. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash, Council services, fees or charges.
15. Any costs associated with accepting or using the prize, other than those included in the prize, are the responsibility of the winner.
16. To receive the prize, the winner must provide the personal information requested by Council.
17. Winners may be asked to participate in promotional activities relating to A Very Fraser Coast Christmas.
Privacy
18. Personal information collected as part of this giveaway will be used to contact winners, and for the promotional purposes outlined in these Terms and Conditions.
19. Council collects and manages personal information in accordance with the Local Government Act 2009 and Council's Privacy Policy.
General Conditions
20. Council will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this giveaway or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
21. If the giveaway cannot be conducted as planned due to circumstances beyond Council's reasonable control, Council may suspend, cancel or recommence the giveaway at its discretion.
22. Council's decision regarding eligibility and the conduct of the prize draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
A Very Fraser Coast Christmas is supported by Fraser Coast Regional Council and local Chambers of Commerce, with the goal of encouraging local spending and supporting Fraser Coast businesses during the busy Christmas period.
